Cookie policy
Which cookies we set, what each one is for, and how to change your mind at any time.
The short version
Nothing beyond the strictly necessary is set until you agree. If you decline, the site works exactly the same — we still see aggregate traffic through a cookieless system that cannot identify you.
Strictly necessary — always on
These do not require consent because the site cannot work without them.
- Consent record — remembers what you chose, so we do not ask again on every page.
- Theme preference — remembers whether you picked light or dark. Stored in your browser and never sent to us.
- Security — set by Cloudflare to keep the site available and block abuse.
Analytics — only with consent
- Google Analytics 4 — how many people visit, which pages they read, how they arrived. Typically expires after 2 years.
Separately, Cloudflare Web Analytics runs for everyone. It sets no cookies and cannot identify you, which is why it does not appear in the banner.
Advertising — only with consent
- Google Ads remarketing — lets us show EarnDesk adverts to people who have visited before.
- X (Twitter) pixel — the same, on X.
These build an audience of past visitors. They do not tell us who you are individually, and we never combine them with your email address.
Changing your mind
Use the cookie settings link in the footer to change your choices at any time. You can also clear cookies in your browser settings, or browse in private mode, which discards them when you close the window.
Why we ask at all
UK GDPR and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations require your consent before non-essential cookies are set. We would rather ask plainly than hide the question behind a pre-ticked box.
Questions
Email info@earndesk.io and we will get back to you. Our privacy policy covers what we do with personal data more broadly.
